Thank you for choosing us to tutor your child. We are very proud of our students and become very invested in their progress – we want them to achieve their full potential, just as you do.

Illness: Whilst Government guidelines encourage you to send your child to school even if they are a close contact of, or live in the same household as, someone with an infectious illness case, we would ask you not to bring your child to a face-to-face session if this is the case. Our students come from a wide range of schools, and it would be irresponsible to allow cross-infection to occur at our premises. We also ask that you keep your child home if they have a high temperature of a persistent cough. If your child is unable to attend, we will offer an alternative online session, using a dedicated online classroom created especially for your child.

Homework: From time to time, we will suggest homework activities. Completing these tasks isn’t compulsory but we only have a limited number of sessions in which to teach a huge amount of material and techniques and homework tasks will be designed to give your child the best possible chance of success. If you could encourage your child to complete tasks, and to explain to you what they have learnt during their session, it would be hugely beneficial for them.

Holiday sessions: Since individual school dates may vary, we follow Kent’s Term dates, from the KCC website: https://www.kent.gov.uk/education-and-children/schools/term-dates and assume children will attend during these dates. Holiday sessions may be booked by prior arrangement and may require a deposit. Our tutors endeavour to arrange their own holidays to ensure they are available in the weeks leading up to examinations and the Kent Test.

Payment: Payment may be made in cash or via bank transfer - payment details will be at bottom of feedback letters. Late payments can cause embarrassment and confusion, so please ensure payment is made on the day of the session and add your child’s initials as a reference.

Missed sessions: We understand that emergencies happen and on rare occasions your child may not be able to attend. However, frequent absences mean topics will not be covered, which will impact on the child’s success - this is especially important for students who are preparing for external tests or exams. Please ensure your child attends regularly, and if absence is unavoidable please notify us as soon as you can. These sessions are our tutors’ only source of income, and late notification means we are unable to schedule in other clients, therefore missed sessions are chargeable.

Terminating Sessions:  Since we often prepare blocks of sessions in advance, we require for two sessions notice for ending tuition.

Attendance at the first session confirms agreement with the above terms and conditions.

Contact details: Please complete the form below, to allow us to contact you with advice, suggestions, or if your child’s tutor is unwell. We will only retain your information while your child is studying with us and will not pass information on to any third party.

Warm regards,
