A lot of folk assumed poetry would be the hot favourite for the boot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Today AQA have released the detail of their 2021 papers and it appears they have taken a different stance. Poetry will be compulsory and the final text will be either the 19th-century novel, or the Modern Text.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As a Literature graduate, it&#8217;s difficult to understand the rationale for this choice. It&#8217;s also problematic for teachers who have already taught both of the optional texts. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Whichever texts your child will be studying, give us a shout if we can help.
