With Christmas behind us and the New Year nudging its way in, our thoughts turn to resolutions. Next year will be the one when we give up a bad habit, take up a good one, learn something new. I don’t know about you but I’m not great at keeping resolutions; however that doesn’t stop me aspiring to great things. 2017 will see me embarking on the final part of my Master’s degree and starting some voluntary work. I also want it to be the year I learn to play my saxophone (local music teacher wanted). These are my personal goals but at EKT we have professional goals too.
Business is flourishing, with some tutors having to take on weekend sessions; availability is limited but there are still some spaces.
New sessions will be launched. Ask for details about Story Club for pre-schoolers, Creative Writing Classes for adults, and the Parent Homework-Help sessions. In Herne Bay, I will be running a drop-in slot, for people who just want to book a one-off session, for assessment, to gather ideas for supporting your child, or for test tips.
In the summer we will be running Practice Test sessions, so watch this space for details.
Happy New Year, one and all, and may 2017 be kind to you.
