First of all, Happy New Year to all our students and parents, past and present. I hope you all had a happy (and as near-normal as possible) Christmas. Like may other families this year our Christmas involved lots of video calls, as one of us was isolating with Covid. As a result of the high numbers of cases in local schools we have made the decision to hold sessions online for the duration of January.

The next piece of news is quite exciting for me, though as ‘news; is it a little out of date already. I’d like to formally welcome Robyn to the EKT team. Robyn has already been tutoring a few students in term 2 but we have finally got round to making her ‘official’ on the website. Robyn has a wealth of experience working with children with SEND, especially those with social, emotional, behavioural and communication issues. Robyn is a qualified primary teacher, with experience of tutoring for the Kent Test, but with a degree in Physics with Astrophysics she is also more than qualified to teach GCSE maths and Physics.
